Welcome to the Keck Center

The Keck Center for International and Strategic Studies at Claremont McKenna College supports the study of critical issues in world affairs and actively promotes research into topics arising from the rapidly changing world order.

The Keck Center offers four fellowships for CMC students during the academic year. The purpose of these fellowships is to support and expand the ongoing research of the CMC students. Announcements are sent in September. All fellowships require an application and proposal prior to approval.

Nine CMC students participated in the Harvard World Model United Nations Conference (HWMUN). This year’s conference was held in Taipei, Taiwan, from March 14-19. Student participation was sponsored by the Keck Center and other campus departments. Delegates included: Francesca Ioffreda ’10, Shamil Hargovan ’10, Ajay Sridhar ’12, Andrew Grimm ’11, Cassandra Gurrola ’11, Samantha Plotner ’13, Shaun Khubchandani ’11, William Broer ’10, and Jillian Raftery ’12.
