Keck Center Fellowships

The Keck Center offers four fellowships for CMC students during the academic year. The purpose of these fellowships is to support and expand the ongoing research of the CMC students. We are proud to announce The Keck Center will provide the following research fellowships for CMC Students during the academic year 2010-2011. This project should reflect a current research interest of the student and result in a research paper approximately 10 pages in length.  All fellowships require an application and proposal prior to approval.

THE ARTHUR R. ADAMS FELLOWSHIP IN INTERNATIONAL STRATEGIC STUDIES
This fellowship is made possible by the generous support of the late Arthur R. Adams, former board member of the Keck Center. The recipient is required to conduct research under the supervision of, or in collaboration with, a CMC faculty member. This program is designed to encourage and support those students who pursue studies or conduct research in International Strategic Studies. The award is $1,500 (one or two awards).

THE CHENGWEI VENTURES FELLOWSHIP IN CHINESE STUDIES
This fellowship is sponsored through a generous grant from Chengwei Ventures. This program is designed to encourage and support those students who focus on Chinese studies(domestic politics, political economy, national security, and foreign policy). Priority will be given to proposals that demonstrate originality and a willingness to challenge conventional wisdoms in the Chinese studies field. The recipient is required to conduct research under the supervision of, or in collaboration with, a CMC faculty member.  The award is $1,500 (one award).

THE JACK STARK FELLOWSHIP IN SECURITY STUDIES
This fellowship is offered in honor of Jack Stark, President Emeritus and former board member of the Keck Center. The recipient is required to conduct research under the supervision of, or in collaboration with, a CMC faculty member. This program is designed to encourage and support those students who pursue studies or conduct research in aspects of U.S. security policies. The award is $1,500 (one award).

THE DONALD A. HENRIKSEN FELLOWSHIP IN ECONOMIC DIPLOMACY
This fellowship is offered in honor of the late Donald A. Henriksen, former board member of the Keck Center. The recipient is required to conduct research under the supervision of, or in collaboration with, a CMC faculty member. This program is designed to encourage and support those students who pursue studies or conduct research in the areas of diplomatic activities regarding economic issues. The award is $1,500 (one award).
